SeaTac Marine Services is kicking off the summer on a high note with the addition of a new Taylor 700L forklift to our fleet. Built in Mississippi with pride, this machine is fully compliant with the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA), ensuring that all materials and components were manufactured in the United States.

This new forklift represents a significant step forward in modernizing our terminal operations. Equipped with advanced technology and enhanced safety features, it will help us improve efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety. With an impressive lifting capacity of 35 tons and a bold, unmistakable red finish, this machine is ready to go to work and serve our operations reliably for years to come.

We were able to acquire this equipment through funding from the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) under its Marine Highway Program. This program provides grants to both public and private sector partners to support projects that strengthen and expand America’s marine transportation system. Established under the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, the program aims to reduce landside congestion and improve freight efficiency nationwide.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Tyler at Leavitt Machinery for his support throughout the purchasing process, as well as to the team at Taylor Forklifts for helping make this addition possible.
